Veterinary Health
Provides veterinary support to UCSD faculty and staff for campus animal activities Ensures the humane care and use of animals used in research and teaching as mandated by federal, state and local animal welfare regulations Assures that all campus animal activities are conducted within the goals of the UniversityResources to carry out these goals include a staff of veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Reference materials, including a library devoted to laboratory animal medicine and experimentation, and specialized equipment are available for use by members of the research staff. A veterinary diagnostic lab, technical services and special programs to promote animal health and support research are available. |
