Lecture-based Classes

• Everyone who requires regular access to research animals at UCSD must attend the Orientation to Animal Research at UCSD class (3.5hrs).
• Additional classes may be assigned by the IACUC (click here to go their website), depending on your specific job tasks.
• See the class schedule for each course description and to register for classes.

Wet Labs

• Hands-on technical training may be provided upon request. Please send an email to training@acp.ucsd.ed to request this service.

Animal Research News Bulletin Boards

• The Animal Research News bulletin boards are posted in each vivarium and provide up-to-date posting regarding upcoming classes, animal models, laws and regulations about laboratory animals, and other information regarding animal care. These boards are changed regularly.
